The Light and Poetry of Painting

There is a poetry in the wild, rambling textures against the colors of surrounding moors and marshes that lead to the shoreline. I find inspiration through exploring the interplay between light and atmosphere. Those experiences, where I’ve discovered, observed, and listened to my surroundings, are translated into my paintings. When viewing these paintings, I hope you might feel the sunlight on a quiet road, or the mist of foggy air.
